POLISH WINNERS OF NEW HORIZONS
On July 31, ended the 16th edition of T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival in Wroclaw. Among the award-winning films, there are also Polish productions.
This year, the films competed in five competition sections: New Horizons International Film Competition, Films On Art International Competition, Polish Short Film Competition, European Short Film Competition and Zoom Competition.
In Polish Film Competition, the patron of which is the main partner of the festival, T-Mobile Poland, the first prize was given to the film "Education" by Emi Buchwald. The second prize went to Natalia Siwicka for her film, called "16.03," whereas the third prize was given to Zofia Kowalewska for "Close Ties." The winners were chosen by the international Jury, consisting of: Juan Daniel F. Molero, Kim Yutani, Edvinas Pukšta.
In the competition section - Zoom - for film-makers and visual artists from Wroclaw and Lower Silesia, the best film award went to the film "Goran the Camel Man" by Marcin Lesisz. The winners were chosen by the Jury, consisting of Paweł Ferdek, Katarzyna Klimkiewicz and Katarzyna Wilk of Krakow Film Foundation.
