SŁOWIK
A timelessly universal male friendship story set in our age. The film examines the boundaries of comradeship between Slowik (28) and Dlugi (29), when it gets tested by the appearance of a girl. Ania, a beautiful, seductive, calculating and cynical girlfriend, destroys the eponymous character, or at least that’s what his best friend believes. How will Ania and Slowik’s toxic relationship change when Dlugi gets involved?

Ernest Wencel, a middle-aged father of two teenagers, who unexpectedly turned his life around after over a dozen years in business, deciding to follow his real dreams and passion instead. When asked about his identity, he responds that labels tend to stigmatize: “when I am making money in my company, I am a businessman; when I am taking pictures, I am a photographer; when I am painting, I am a painter. All these different shades of his personality serve as sources of inspiration in the movie-making process. He is now presenting his next movie “Esprits Animaux”, which is definitely more mature and which provokes the thinking on our approach and attitudes towards life and our dear ones.
